For Bob

‘For Bob’ was written for the ‘For Bob’ concert in Splendor on June 6, 2015, dedicated to Irish musicologist, writer and musician Bob Gilmore.For Bob uses a polytempo technique I’ve been working on. Each player follows a metronome with a different tempo on it. Harmonies and melodies float by, attempting to evoke timelessness.
