Since 1995 I have been researching the contrabass flute, performing on it solo and in many different combinations. In 2008 I composed the first ever concerto for contrabass flute and performed it (Bantammer Swing) in Carnegie Hall with the American Composers Orchestra. In 2016 I released a recording dedicated solely to the contrabass flute: ‘The Art of the Contrabass Flute‘.
