From Carmel but residing for many years in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, flutist and composer Ned McGowan and pianist Keiko Shichijo perform a recital of music for flute, contrabass flute and piano. McGowan will present a number of pieces from his recent CD, The Art of the Contrabass Flute, plus other flute works by himself and Salvatore Sciarrino. Ms. Shichijo will perform solo piano pieces by Frank Nuyts and Vardapet Komitas.
